Council appoints Michael Jensen to fill District 3 vacancy after interviews

No vote tally was recorded in the minutes for the appointment, only that ballots were tallied and the winner announced.
Candidates expressed varied priorities: Jeff White emphasized neighborhood safety and pedestrian visibility; Michael Jensen highlighted economic development and experience on regional bodies; Dan Peay cited prior council service and municipal experience; and Jen D'Haenens stressed cross-department coordination skills.
