The Montrose City Council declared designated city equipment surplus and approved auction listings at its June 9 meeting. By unanimous roll call the council declared 10 green picnic tables, an older snow blade, short 36" forks, and a skid catch broom as surplus (Action 26-070). The council then approved listing a Cub Cadet mower, snow blade, short forks and skid catch broom at Weiman Auction (Action 26-071).
Council noted the 10 picnic tables will be moved to the softball concession area and made available to the Montrose Youth Sports Organization for their use. The auction and surplus declarations were adopted without opposition.
