During the hearing of those present, resident Dave Lounsberry raised a citizen complaint that excess pink rock from a recent chip-seal project remains in yards and ditches, creating aesthetic and possible drainage concerns. Council member Nick Vogel said the council would look into the issue and directed staff to investigate and report back to the council.
The item was recorded as public comment; no vote or formal action was taken and the council adjourned at 8:10 p.m. (Action 26-016). Residents with property affected by chip seal debris were encouraged to contact city staff for follow-up.
