Montrose council outlines 2026 street priorities, seeks chip-seal and slurry bids

Maintenance Technician Josh Hanisch recommended concentrating work on the north side because of a recent 2025 chip-seal project there. Dakota Street was highlighted to align with FEMA funding requirements. The council asked the finance officer to solicit a slurry-seal bid for 2026 and to include any necessary coordination with contractors in upcoming budget planning.
