At its Feb. 9 meeting the Harrison County Council voted on several advertised appropriation and transfer items. Councilwoman Holli Castetter moved "to deny an additional appropriation in the amount of $1,231.46 for equipment repair & maintenance in the circuit court clerk budget in the county general fund," and the motion carried with a recorded vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. The council also approved an additional appropriation of $74,686 for contractual services in the Cumulative Bridge Fund; that motion carried 7-0.
Council members approved multiple transfer requests by unanimous vote, moving funds within the county general fund and motor vehicle highway fund for items including office supplies, equipment and mechanic payroll lines. The transfers were entered into the formal Transfers Pursuant to Public Law 54 language in the meeting record. The motions and their recorded tallies will be reflected in the February 9 minutes and the posted appropriation/transfer ordinances.
