Following a review by Assistant Superintendent Martha Stuemky, the Governing Board approved eight new curriculum courses to expand instructional offerings across the district.
The approved courses include ELD 1, ELD 2, ELD 3, ELD 4; First Responder PAHS; Intro to English; Personal and Career Exploration P106; and Welcome to English. The motion was moved by Pete Lara and seconded by Pedro Martinez; the motion carried with all six members present voting aye.
District staff will integrate the new courses into curriculum schedules and staffing plans for the upcoming terms.
