Council reiterates no financial involvement in Hometown Heroes civil case; project representative thanks borough

Council President Riley Cross told attendees that he had spoken with Lance Greer regarding the Hometown Heroes civil case and said the borough would not be taking any money from that civil case. The comment was delivered during the Hearing of Visitors portion of the meeting.
Bev Ballog, a representative of Hometown Heroes, spoke in support of the project and thanked the borough for its assistance, saying she was "happy to hear that Lance is not accepting the money." Council administration reiterated they are not connected financially to Hometown Heroes but expressed support for the project's goals.
