Dorset Zoning Board anticipating vacancy as member declines reappointment

Board member Martha Merwin told the Dorset Zoning Board on Jan. 20, 2025 that she will not seek reappointment; Zoning Administrator Tyler Yandow confirmed Merwin's term expires in 2025 and that her seat will be vacant on April 30. Chair Kevin O’Toole encouraged board members to recruit someone to fill the seat.
Yandow also reported that the terms for Ed Tanenhaus, Bruce Ketcham and Chad Smith expire this year; those three members indicated they would like to be reappointed. The board did not take a formal vote or make appointments at the meeting; the minutes record discussion only.
