At the Oct. 7 meeting, Borough Manager Cindy Wells told council members the borough had received $75,000 from the ECGRA Anchor Building Grant and $35,000 from a Helping Today grant administered by ECF. Wells also said the borough received $154,000 through a Community Project Fund via Mike Kelly’s office, for a total of $264,000 to continue improvements to the first floor of the City Building.
Council did not record further motion on spending the funds at the meeting; Wells presented the funding amounts as part of routine updates. The money is intended to support continuing first-floor renovations and related improvements.
