The Town of Newburgh Planning Board on July 16 approved a six‑month extension for Gardner Ridge (project 02‑29), moving the conditional final site plan approval deadline to Feb. 7, 2027.
Dan Conant, attorney for the applicant with Cuddy & Feder, told the Board that “the applicant and its consultants have been working closely with Pat Hines” and that the remaining items are administrative: checks, copies of original bonds, two reported documents and the signature on a stormwater maintenance agreement. Pat Hines of MHE Engineering confirmed the current approval runs until Aug. 7, 2026 and that “six months would be 7 February 2027.” Planning Board attorney Dominic Cordisco said a six‑month extension “would be appropriate at this time.”
John Ward moved to grant the extension and Stephanie DeLuca seconded. The Board approved the motion by roll call: Ward, Carver, Browne, Chairman John P. Ewasutyn, Mennerich, DeLuca and Dominick all voted aye. The applicant will return when the outstanding administrative items are complete and the final signed plans are ready.
