Dorset committee requests exact window model to ensure 6-over-6 historic match

The Dorset Design Review Committee told Dorset Properties it must supply exact vendor specifications for replacement windows before the panel can recommend approval. On Dec. 16 the applicant said RKMiles had been asked to specify matching units but had not provided a model number in time for the meeting.
Committee members cited bylaw language requiring replacement windows be wood or high-quality vinyl or metal-clad and that double-hung windows retain permanent muntins. The committee noted one north-side window had flat muntins from a prior owner and would not be replaced as part of this application. The applicant agreed to deliver window specifications matching 6-over-6 muntin patterns for committee review at the January meeting.
