The Dorset Selectboard approved Pay Request No. 5 for the Town Office construction project after staff presented the payment request. The motion was made by Jim Salsgiver and seconded by Frank Parent and recorded as passing 4-0 in the minutes.
Town Manager Rob Gaiotti told the board that delivery of timbers and trusses set construction back roughly four weeks; the building was expected to be 'dry' by late December with an updated projected completion in late July 2025. The minutes note that while the schedule slipped, the project remains on budget and that construction expenses will be reimbursed from the town bond for the project.
