The School Board approved its Consent Calendar on Sept. 9, including authorization of payments in the amount of $2,248,050.14 and acceptance of multiple donations totaling $28,530.66. Ms. Leslie Wright moved and Ms. Heather Garrison seconded the consent calendar motion; the roll call recorded votes including abstentions on particular past meeting minutes (Dr. Lokuta and Ms. Garrison abstained on specific entries) and the motion passed as recorded.
Donations accepted included $10,344.55 from the Oregon Area Food Pantry to cover food service balances, $13,000 from Oregon Athletic Boosters for the Hudl annual payment, $2,704 from FES PTO for teacher requests, $1,886.84 from Oregon Athletic Boosters for cross country flags, $500 from Andrew Brownfield for the Oregon Area Splash Pad, and an anonymous $95.27 for Student and Family Support. Mr. Troy Pankratz "thanked those who generously donated to the Oregon School District," according to the meeting record.
