Burleson County Commissioners Court on July 27 approved the Order of Election for the Nov. 3, 2026 General Election and an Order of Appointment naming election judges and alternates for the term beginning Aug. 1, 2026 and ending Aug. 1, 2028. Commissioner David Hildebrand moved to approve both items and Commissioner Vincent Svec seconded; the court recorded unanimous approval.
"Approve and Act upon Order of Election for November 3, 2026 General Election," the court recorded in the minutes, directing county election administration staff to implement the order and process the appointments as provided in the meeting attachments. The Orders and accompanying attachments were entered into the court record for implementation by the County Clerk and election officials.
