Rogue River School District reports higher test participation and 49 of 53 graduate

At the June 25 meeting, Councilor Mark Minegar reported on Rogue River School District #35 activity. He said Reach Rivers Edge secured approval for a five-year agreement from the school board and described outreach efforts for incoming seventh graders. "Rogue River High had 49 out of 53 students graduated," Minegar said, and he noted there is one remaining student still working toward graduation.
Minegar also reported testing and participation numbers: district-wide Reach Statewide assessment participation rose from 58% last year to 87% this year, with English and language arts at 64%, science at 56% and math at 49%, which he described as above the state average.
