Supervisor Schneider reported that Jeremy DeLyser from Clark Patterson Lee is coordinating with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to obtain roughly $300,000 in funding to allow bids for Water District #4 work. Schneider told the board the NYS Comptroller has asked the town to reform the district now that the actual cost is known and that he expects bids to be awarded in August.
Schneider also said the WIIA grant application for Water District #5 would be submitted on Monday. No final award or bid actions took place at the meeting; the board is awaiting funding outcomes and bid results before proceeding.
