The board also approved public‑employee appointments and actions listed under agenda item 7.3 and took action under item 7.4 related to public employee discipline/dismissal; both items were approved by unanimous roll-call votes.
Trustee Melissa DeWitt moved approval of the public-employee appointment items and Board President Tammy Criswell moved approval of the discipline/dismissal actions; all votes were recorded as 5–0. The board noted that parents or guardians were present for some of the expulsion hearings and were provided recommendations and conditions where applicable.
