At its Oct. 22 meeting the Board approved the agenda, consent items (minutes from Oct. 8, 2025 and Appropriation (2025) 18), a Limited Utility Status form, and granted after-hours cemetery use for Oct. 29. The Board of Commissioners approved the meeting agenda and multiple motions during its Oct. 22, 2025 session. Commissioner Banzet moved to approve the agenda; Commissioner Truelove seconded and the motion carried. The consent agenda — consisting of minutes from Oct. 8, 2025, and Appropriation (2025) 18 — was approved on a motion by Commissioner Truelove and second by Commissioner Banzet.
The Board also approved a Limited Utility Status form and granted after-hours use of the cemetery for the Chamber’s Annual Cemetery Tours scheduled for October 29, 2025. The meeting included staff presentations and discussion of a proposed landlord-licensing program, a proposed registry for vacant residential properties, and a presentation from Labette Health about a potential EMS partnership; those items were discussed but not acted on. The meeting adjourned at 5:58 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Nov. 12, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
