Neodesha commission approves consent agenda and holds executive session on personnel; meeting adjourned

The Governing Body approved its agenda and consent agenda (including Sept. 24 minutes; Appropriation (2025) 18; Water System Improvements Bond Appropriation 12), recessed to an executive session under KSA 75-4319(b)(1) to discuss an employee performance matter, reconvened with no public action and adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
At the Oct. 8, 2025 meeting the Governing Body approved the meeting agenda and later approved the consent agenda consisting of the Sept. 24, 2025 minutes; Appropriation (2025) 18; and Water System Improvements Bond Appropriation 12. Commissioner Banzet moved to approve the agenda; Commissioner Truelove seconded. Commissioner Truelove later moved to approve the consent agenda and the motion carried.
At 5:40 p.m. the Governing Body recessed, temporarily suspending the Zoom recording. The body reconvened and recessed to an executive session to discuss an individual employee’s performance under the non‑elected personnel exception KSA 75-4319(b)(1) with the City Administrator, City Clerk and Director of Public Safety present; the open meeting resumed at 6:15 p.m., the executive session was extended, and the meeting reconvened at 6:30 p.m. No public action was recorded following the executive session and the meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
