Board completes AB 1200 disclosure and ratifies certificated bargaining agreement

Chief Business Official Martin Rodriguez presented the AB 1200 disclosure noting the district publicly disclosed the provisions and costs of the proposed certificated collective bargaining agreement prior to ratification, as required by Assembly Bill 1200. The board opened a public hearing and closed it within minutes, then approved the disclosed costs and ratified the 2024–25 certificated agreement. (SEG 006)
Rodriguez said the disclosure included financial changes for the fiscal year and that the RTA had ratified the agreement on Jan. 31, 2025. The board's vote approving the agreement was unanimous.
