"When I spoke to Tom today about the tax rate he asked where we're at with capital improvement," Staff member said, outlining why the committee's project list matters to the upcoming tax-rate decision. Board members asked staff to assemble cost estimates so the board can prioritize items and decide how much to set aside over multi-year planning cycles. Members discussed funding sources and whether a special town meeting might be needed if immediate funds are unavailable.
