At the Jan. 5 meeting the Colfax City Council approved all bills, claims and payroll as presented. A motion by Councilor Schaefer, seconded by Councilor McRae, carried on a unanimous roll call. The meeting record lists Claims Payroll #11405, 11417–11445 and EFT #11406–11416 with EFT and payroll amounts reported as $435,472.01 and $94,494.25, respectively, for a grand total of $529,966.26.
Earlier in the meeting Councilor Golden moved, and Councilor Schaefer seconded, to approve the Dec. 15, 2025 minutes; the roll call recorded McRae, Schaefer, Mackleit, Guenthner, Sevedge and Golden as voting yes and Huntwork as abstaining.
