The council voted unanimously to enter into a Master Equipment Lease-Purchase Agreement for municipal equipment. Separately, a proposed lease-purchase agreement for a 2026 Ford Transit ambulance with Country Roads Leasing was tabled for at least 30 days by unanimous vote after a motion by Charlene Louk and second by Karen Phillips; council indicated hope that a lower interest rate would be available before proceeding.
EMS Supervisor Nathan Rohrbough reported that a Knox Box has been purchased to familiarize EMS staff and that equipment for an additional ambulance will be bought incrementally to avoid large one-time expenditures. The minutes also record that the council entered an executive session at 6:56 p.m. on a personnel matter and closed it at 7:50 p.m.; no attendees returned to the business meeting, and council will make a recommendation to Public Works regarding that personnel matter.
