District installs new Banff and Bernina booster pumps; per-pump flow rises to 620 gpm

Operations Manager Matt Brooks told the Board that two pumps and motors were installed Feb. 5–6 as part of Booster Pump Replacement Project No. 250. Equipment delivery was delayed until January 2025, and the work increased per-pump capacity from 350 gallons per minute (gpm) to 620 gpm.
Brooks said the district will conduct flow testing and bring the results back to the next Board meeting. He also credited in-house staff for much of the work and noted the system's strong performance during recent storms that produced 5 to 7 inches of rain in 24 hours.
