Selectboard hears foreman update: Tyler Bridge paving done; guard-rail funding and ditching grants flagged

The Selectboard received a foreman update on road work: Tyler Bridge Road paving is completed and crushing will not take place this year. The foreman also reported a site map had been prepared for the road tour and that security cameras will be implemented as soon as possible.
Board members discussed Grants in Aid money available for ditching that must be finalized by September and asked Regional Planning to review segments. Tony Porter was assigned to review the year-end highway budget to determine available funds for guard rails, with a possible project on Dan Sargent Road noted. The board also asked staff whether a tablet is available for completing road segment reports.
