The Town of Nutter Fort council on March 25 unanimously approved a retainer agreement with the West Virginia University College of Law Land Use and Sustainable Development Clinic to support the town's Comprehensive Plan work. Councilor Charlene Louk moved the measure and Councilor Karen Phillips seconded it.
The agreement, described in the meeting packet as support from the law clinic for comprehensive-plan work, was passed without recorded opposition. The council did not specify dollar amounts in the public minutes. Town officials said the agreement will provide legal and land-use assistance as the Comprehensive Plan is developed, and that the decision follows consideration during the meeting’s New Business portion.
