At the June 2 meeting Dave Russell returned to the Selectboard with questions about water requirements for possible future development of a site adjacent to town-owned former dump land, citing three potential wells that would connect south of the stream. Chair Koran Cousino recommended the town seek legal counsel to clarify the rights and responsibilities in any agreement with Russell.
The board also asked staff to follow up on an upcoming Development Review Board hearing and to contact Steve and Amy to determine why the Selectboard received notice and whether any action is required. No formal decision or permit condition was approved at the meeting; the board assigned follow-up tasks to clarify obligations and legal exposure.
