General Manager Catherine Cerri told the board Tunnel Works submitted the lowest bid at $2.4 million—within the project budget of $3 million—to slip-line about 6,600 linear feet of sewer main, 45 manholes, and 71 laterals. The contract includes use of a barge for lake access. Cerri described the work as proactive infrastructure reinforcement rather than repair of visible failures.
Director Jacqueline Brown moved to award the contract and Vice President Steve Boydston seconded; the motion carried unanimously among members present. The award completes the slip-lining scope for the lake system, and staff will proceed with contractor coordination and permitting as needed.
