PFAS update: District reports no significant changes, finalizing removal equipment plans

In the monthly PFAS update previewed June 16, staff told the Executive Committee there were no significant changes and the District is finalizing plans for PFAS removal equipment to address per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances.
General Manager Catherine Cerri told the Executive Committee that the Operations Manager's monthly PFAS update will report no significant changes. She said the District is finalizing plans for procurement and installation of PFAS removal equipment.
The committee reviewed the preview but did not take action; the full PFAS update and implementation timeline will be presented to the Board at the June meeting for formal consideration.
