Superintendent reports construction nearly complete; math adoption process and SF2 engagement discussed

Administrator Nathan Myers reported that district construction is "almost complete" and reminded the board that the contractor FRC's contract ends as of April 2026. Myers said the Facilities Committee will discuss future projects, including a walking track and additional cameras, and bring recommendations back to the board.
Myers also updated trustees on the math adoption timeline: the final of three publishers will present to staff in the coming weeks, staff will pilot the selected curriculum over the summer, and a final recommendation is expected next fall. Separately, Myers and staff member Anne Kopache attended the Schools for Sound Finance (SF2) symposium in Sacramento; Myers said a SF2 subcommittee is focused on County Assessor communications and that he and other Sonoma County superintendents will meet the Sonoma County Assessor to seek more accurate data for community-funded districts.
Myers provided these updates during the Superintendent's Report portion of the agenda; trustees did not record additional questions or votes on these items at the meeting.
