Superintendent: 130 students registered for 2026–27; construction Phase II nearly complete

Superintendent Nathan Myers reported to the Kenwood School Board that 130 students are enrolled for the 2026–27 school year following the registration deadline the previous Friday.
Myers also said the second trimester ended last Friday and that student achievement is holding close to last year’s numbers. On facilities, he reported the district’s contract with contractor FRC is scheduled to end in April and that Phase II of construction should be about 99% complete at that time, subject to any unforeseen delays. The updates were presented during the Superintendent’s Report portion of the March 5 meeting.
