District to buy proprietary UV lamps for Grass Valley recycled water system

Catherine Cerri told the Committee the Action Calendar will include the biennial purchase of replacement UV lamps for the recycled water system at the Grass Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant. "This system is proprietary, and the lamps being procured are the only compatible replacement parts available," she said.
Cerri indicated that the purchase is routine and required to maintain the plant's recycled water disinfection system; the Committee did not take procurement action at this meeting and the item will be considered by the full Board.
