Board ratifies consent agenda including contracts, change orders and notices of completion

On Oct. 16 the Rio School District Board approved a comprehensive consent agenda that included: minutes from Sept. 11, 2024; the October personnel report; ratification of commercial warrants for Aug. 30–Oct. 2, 2024; donation and Williams quarterly complaint reports; ratification or amendment of multiple vendor agreements (including Aya Healthcare and EverDriven); a student teaching agreement with Azusa Pacific; ratification of a KCSOS agreement; Q SIS hosting SLA for 24/25; and construction items including change orders, notices of completion, and a canopy set-up at Rio Del Valle Middle School to serve as a lunch area during construction.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was moved by Rosa Balderrama and seconded by Felix Eisenhauer; the minutes record the motion as carrying unanimously. Several items listed by project include: CO #4 to Taft Electric Company for Project 23-01L RDV MS Switchgear Electrical Upgrade; Resolution 24/25-04, -05 and -06 for notices of completion on listed Rio Del Valle MS projects; and Change Order #4 to Los Angeles Engineering, Inc. for the Rio Del Valle Sports Field Complex Phase #2.
