Selectboard Signs Certification of Compliance; AOT Suggests Appendix to Town Road and Bridge Standards

During the March 10 special meeting, Vermont AOT representative Logan Perron presented the Certification of Compliance for the Town Road and Bridge Standards and Network Inventory. The Selectboard signed the form during the meeting and the clerk emailed it back to Perron for the agency's records.
Perron also noted the town's last adoption of the standards and inventory on June 27, 2019 and said the Selectboard could add an Appendix C if it wished to document any practices Sutton carries out that go beyond state requirements. No decision to adopt an appendix was made at the meeting; the discussion was informational and intended to give the board an option to formalize higher-than-standard practices.
Patti McClure, the town clerk and treasurer, submitted the signed certification to the AOT record after the meeting.
