Planning commissioner urges active town-plan update to preserve Sutton's voice amid regionalization

She urged the board to present comparisons between the existing plan and proposed changes so the public can readily see differences.
Biltmore and Rob Simms are applying for a grant for flood planning; she emphasized involvement as preferable to nonparticipation to avoid Sutton being subsumed into broader regional groupings. The board did not record specific bylaw amendments at this meeting but recorded the start of the planning process.
