Sutton Select Board confirms 2025 municipal appointments, names new chair

The board also confirmed Planning Commission/DRB members (Kurt Nygren as chair; Adam Bruggeman vice-chair; Robert Simms; Kate Berry-Buonanno; Paula Biltmore; Scott Cunningham) with terms ranging to 2028–2030, and representatives to regional bodies including NVDA, NEK Broadband, and NEK Waste Management. The appointments were approved by motion and recorded as passed in the minutes.
The appointments set the town’s roster for day-to-day administration, land-use review and regional representation through the next one to five years, with many front-line municipal functions (tree warden, zoning administration, health officer) assigned for the 2026 year.
