Board approves amendment to electronic monitoring pricing agreement

Director of Community Corrections Nikole Keaton told the Board the proposed amendment to the Track Group Electronic Monitoring Pricing Agreement establishes pricing for the vendor's upcoming device release. Keaton explained that the current service rate of $4.25 per day will remain in effect until new devices are universally available and existing ReliAlert XC4 units are phased out.
Commissioner Lovlien moved to approve the Track Group amendment as presented; Commissioner Shurtleff seconded and the motion carried 3–0. The amendment sets pricing expectations for the new equipment rollout and preserves the current daily rate during the transition period.
