Board approves handbooks and casts SDHSAA election ballots

Business Manager Laura Root presented the voided checks for approval and board members approved the following: casting the district’s vote for Jeff Kosters as SDHSAA Division IV Representative and voting yes on Amendments 1–3 to the SDHSAA bylaws as recommended by Mr. Brian Naasz. The board also approved the Elementary, MS/HS, Substitute, Athletic, and Staff handbooks for the coming school year.
Approving handbooks and association ballots are routine governance items that authorize district representation in state-level athletic association matters and finalize district policy manuals for staff and students.
