Pleasant Grove City Council on Jan. 8 authorized awarding the 2025 Pavement Preservation Project to Geneva Rock Products, Inc. Public Works Director Neal Winterton told the Council that competitive bids were solicited and that two proposals were received; he recommended the award to Geneva Rock Products based on those responses.
"Two proposals were received," Director Winterton said when describing the procurement. Council Member Eric Jensen moved to award the project and authorize the Mayor to sign the notice of award; Council Member Steve Rogers seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Winterton cautioned that the list of roads to be treated is not final and that additional concrete and sidewalk repairs may be added as evaluations continue.
