The Winner School District 59-2 Board on April 13 approved contract rates for related services and several vendor agreements for the 2026–2027 school year.
Superintendent Stacy Halverson presented related services contracts and the board approved rates including Inspire Rehab at $15.00 per 15-minute unit for a physical therapy assistant and $20.00 per 15-minute unit for a physical therapist (mileage at $0.725 per mile); Lori Kingsbury, speech-language pathology at $20.79 per 15-minute unit; Southern Plains Behavioral Health at $53.82 per 15-minute unit; Molly Dent, certified school psychologist, at $1,800 per psychoeducational evaluation; and Abby Jorgensen, occupational therapy, at $19.50 per 15-minute unit (OTA at $15.00 per 15-minute unit). All were approved 7-0.
On the procurement side the board approved a $6,200 contract with Winner Playhouse for the 2026–2027 school year and recorded a Johnson Controls Building thermostat project listed at $49,999.53 among the bills. Taher, Inc. meal service charges totaling $55,372.74 were included in the vendors list approved with the bills. Each vendor- and contract-related motion carried unanimously.
