Council advances Braithwaite annexation for review; vote splits 3–2 over utility concerns

Councilmember Ryan Rowley reiterated a concern raised elsewhere about the burden of lift stations for small subdivisions on the city. The Council approved Resolution 06-17-2026-F to advance the Braithwaite petition for further review on a 3–2 vote; Councilmembers Rowley and Lacee Smith voted no. The approval authorizes staff to continue technical review but is not a final development approval.
