Board approves Frontline digital timekeeping and a library MOU for summer meals

The board approved two administrative items at the June 23 meeting: implementation of Frontline Education Absence & Time solutions for employee timekeeping and a Memorandum of Understanding with the Imperial County Free Library to partner on the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
CBO Rosa Medina said the district will join an ICOE consortium to implement Frontline Escape, a digital timeclock and time-off tracking tool to manage timesheets and leave. The motion to approve the Frontline proposal passed by roll call: 7 ayes.
Separately, the board approved an MOU to partner with the Imperial County Free Library on SFSP meal service between June 11 and July 8, 2025, enabling community meal access during the summer program dates; the motion passed by roll call: 7 ayes.
