Board signs MOUs and contracts including Point Loma partnership and SEIS/SIS integration work

At the May 12 meeting the board accepted an MOU with Point Loma Nazarene University (2025–2028) to support fieldwork placements for advanced program teacher candidates, PPS/counseling candidates, internships and student teaching/clinical practice partnerships. The district also approved a Codestack memorandum of contract with the San Joaquin County Office of Education for programming and maintenance of SEIS/SIS integration components and services; staff said the platform is used for the district's Special Education services.
The Point Loma MOU and Codestack contract were presented with supporting references and accepted by roll call (motions moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes). Trustees also approved an MOU with ICOE Curriculum and Instruction for professional learning and a calendar update request for payroll processing; votes were recorded in the minutes and related documents are posted to the district website.
