Oak Park MAC approves minutes and agenda; members press for Oak Park-specific Sheriff and CHP details

Brian Trushinski, Chair of the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the council approved the July 31, 2025 minutes as amended after edits were requested by Brianna Adams and J.L. Diaz. "Motion to approve as amended: Michelle Santucci; Second: Jane Nye; All in favor," the record shows.
Members then approved the Sept. 25 agenda as amended. The council pulled Consent Items A (Sheriff report), B (CHP report) and E (Tickler Log) for discussion and moved to receive and file Consent Items C and D. Jane Nye moved to receive and file the landscape and fire department reports; Brianna Adams seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Council members requested that future monthly Sheriff and CHP reports explicitly identify Oak Park-related incidents or state when no Oak Park-related enforcement occurred.
