Kristen Longville, Kingsbury County Emergency Manager, updated the Board on several operational matters and received approval on multiple items. She reported a push bumper for the Emergency Management vehicle exceeded the originally approved amount, with total cost of $1,354.70; the Board approved the increased expense. Longville also requested and received approval for travel to Aberdeen on Feb. 18–19, 2026 for ICS‑400 training.
Longville said the state’s move to paperless records requires Crisis Track training and announced dates for township and city/county sessions on Feb. 26, 2026. She also presented a Letter of Agreement with First District for MSAG assistance at $1,000 per year; the Board authorized her to sign the agreement. Longville told commissioners the LEMPG grant funds for her 2025 salary reimbursement should be released soon and asked the Board to review and update Emergency Management contact information.
