Board signs multiple county agreements, approves law enforcement contract with Arlington and purchases copier

During its Jan. 20 meeting, the Kingsbury County Board approved several administrative contracts and purchases presented by County Auditor Echo Steffensen.
The board approved an agreement with First District of Local Governments for county GIS website hosting and parcel updates, and a separate agreement for GIS 911 data maintenance. It also approved the 2026 Law Enforcement contract with the city of Arlington; motions to approve these contracts carried with all present voting aye. Steffensen requested approval to purchase a printer/copier from Century Business Products for $8,241.25, to be split between the Auditor and Register of Deeds offices; the board approved that purchase as budgeted.
Steffensen also presented the state form to request state aid for the salary of the County’s Veterans Service Officer, which the board authorized the chairman to sign, and the board set the fee for combined elections with cities and schools at $500.00.
