Commissioners reject courthouse security bids, direct engineering assessment

The Board voted unanimously to reject the bids from CommTech and OnSight Security Systems and to authorize engineering to refine specifications.
Vice‑Chairman Corey Lundquist declared the Board out of executive session at 10:37 a.m. and the subsequent motion to reject the bids carried with all commissioners present voting aye. The engineering step is intended to ensure the county obtains equipment that meets courthouse security and integrity needs before issuing new bids.
