Auditor authorized to sign election agreement, permit; board OKs purchase card

It also approved a permit for Dakota Air Spray to land on county highways and authorized the Chairman to sign the permit (motion by Spilde, second by Nelson); Commissioner Troy Nelson asked that the Deputy State's Attorney review Dakota Air Spray's Certificate of Insurance for suitable coverage before the permit is finalized.
Steffensen also requested approval to obtain a single purchase card for county purchases from American Bank & Trust for larger purchases. The Board approved the request (motion by Lundquist, second by Walls). The Auditor noted a supplemental budget hearing for the TIF #1 Project fund is scheduled for April 9, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.
These administrative approvals streamline routine county operations: election logistics, a limited-use aviation permit, and a procurement card intended for larger purchases that the Auditor will control.
