Meeker reports tanker grant delays; TAP sidewalk project delayed by ODOT review

The Board received an update that the Fire Department's slip-on tanker unit grant project has been delayed by parts delivery and contractor backlog. Leslie Wilbourn advised the Board that delays were related to awaiting delivery of tracks needed for installation and that the town remains within the grant's two-year completion window. She said the first fire truck was taken to the contractor in November and progress has been slower than anticipated, but once the first unit returns the remaining units may be completed more quickly.
Town Administrator Jeff Wilbourn gave an update on the TAP sidewalk project previously led by Melissa Way, saying required paperwork and homeowner notifications have been completed but ODOT's study and staffing changes have delayed a start date. He said the project is expected to move forward but no definite timeline was provided.
