Trustees greenlight trial farmers market on private property

Resident and business owner Nora Plank asked the Board for permission to establish a small-scale farmers market on her property, proposing roughly 10–15 vendor spaces in 10x10 tents and plans to operate a 'dirty soda' and coffee stand.
"I anticipate accommodating approximately 10–15 vendor spaces (10x10 tents)," Plank said, noting she would serve as primary organizer, planned to close her drive-through during market hours and had spoken with a neighboring property owner who raised no objections.
The Board discussed parking options, including using the lot formerly occupied by Video Connection subject to ownership approval, and expressed general support. Trustees agreed to allow the market to operate on a trial basis and to permit the soda and coffee stand on a more regular schedule, contingent on compliance with applicable ordinances, permits and regulations. Aaron Head moved to approve the proposal; Mike Orman seconded and the motion carried.
